Palmarosa is distilled from a grass closely related to citronella and lemongrass. Like its relatives, palmarosa has a grassy, lemony scent, but with a subtle floral-rose nuance. Palmarosa is effective in skin care products and is often used to scent cosmetics. Palmarosa is a cleansing, astringent addition to skin care products such as bath and massage oils. Aromatherapy benefits: refreshing. Palmarosa oil has no known contra indications but care should always be taken when using essential oils. Palmarosa oil could calm the mind and be helpful with physical and nervous exhaustion, stress-related problems and nervousness. It could be helpful during convalescence and cools the body of fever.
