Stratego - The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Edition Game
The battlefield is Middle-earth, and your objective is the same as in the classic Stratego game: capture your opponent's flag before s/he captures yours. This time, the soldiers are characters from The Lord of the Rings Motion Picture Trilogy. Led by Gandalf, the Forces of Good include Frodo, Legolas, Aragorn, Arwen, and Eowyn as the Spy. Led by the Witch-King, the Forces of Evil include Saruman, Ringwraiths, Gothmog, Haradrim, Orc, and Wormtongue as the Spy. This Special Edition includes 3 variations of game play: Classic Stratego, Special Powers (where certain characters have special powers for advanced strategic play) and Destroy The Ring (where the player who controls Frodo must move him to Mount Doom to destroy the ring, while the opposing player tries to capture him). The fate of Middle-earth is in your hands! Comes with Gameboard, 40-piece gray army, 40-piece beige army, label sheet, and game instructions. For 2 Players, Ages 8 and Up.
