"The individually assigned code number on Buddy Tag identifies you in the Buddy Tag Recovery Center North American database. Upon ''activating'' your Buddy Tag they create a private data base file with your name - address and all phone numbers including home, office, cell phone, voice mail, pager, and even your email address to ensure that they can always reach you - anywhere you may be. For security and privacy your identity is not published on the Buddy Tag. Only the Buddy Tag Recovery Center knows how to reach you. If your pet gets lost - the finder calls the toll free 24 hour hotline. Trained recovery operators immediately contact you with the finder's name and telephone number to ensure quick retrieval. And with optional updating service there is no need to replace your Buddy Tag when you move or change phone numbers! Simply call they will update your file with new address or phone information so Buddy Tag is always working for you!"
