These picnic tables are manufactured using quality 40 year pressure treated southern yellow pine for the brackets and are finished with durable exterior paints or stains providing years of trouble free ownership (typically, the wood used for these products needs to be seasoned or dried to a stable moisture content for two weeks. Sometimes the lumber is curing when orders are placed so this could be a factor in shipping time). The reason this is done is so the furniture doesn't shrink, warp, twist, crack, etc. once it is assembled and finished. It may seem like a long time, but it really is important for quality! This item is big and heavy, and the size of the top is up to 30" X 60". Additional shipping charges may apply. If they do, we will contact you BEFORE processing your order.
