Elk River Inc Safety 9" Retractable Lanyard Retractable Lanyards can be used in a wide range of work situations where extra mobility is required. Typically the mechanical device is anchored to an approved overhead anchorage to eliminate interference with ladders and vertical work areas. Retractable Lanyards feature an internal sealed spring mechanism that allows normal controlled movement away from the device.All units have a safe work load of 350 pounds total weight and are proof tested prior to being shipped from the factory. RETRACTAMAN Retractable Lanyard, 1-7/8" x 9' ,includes 17150 carabiner. WARNING: RETRACTAMAN Retractable Lanyards are rated for Fall Arrest (FA),but once used in a fall must be retired from service.
