For professional photographers and organizations seeking card-level data security for their sensitive photographs, the LockTight system is the only secure imaging solution that reliably and easily restricts unauthorized access to data stored on LockTight enabled cards. LockTight has been designed to have zero impact on a pro photographer's shooting style and minimal, one-screen impact on their production workflow. LockTight also makes the time spent on system administration incredibly low. LockTight encrypts login access to the LockTight card. By not encrypting file data, the full 80X speed of the LockTight card is available to the photographer while still providing full card level security. A LockTight card absolutely cannot be accessed on any camera other than an authorized LockTight camera nor any computer that does not have LockTight Access and a correct User Name and Password. Nikon's D2X and D2Hs are the first cameras to incorporate LockTight technology and address the security needs of its customers. Four components comprise the LockTight System: 1) a Lexar Professional LockTight CF card 512MB or 2GB), 2) a Lexar Professional CompactFlash reader, 3) a LockTight enabled camera such as the Nikon D2x or D2Hs and 4) LockTight Admin and Access software. Note: LockTight Admin and Access are free and come loaded on each LockTight card. The Lexar Professional CompactFlash reader and the Nikon D2x or D2Hs must be purchased separately. Strong data security on a LockTight card - A LockTight CF card will not be accessible on any computer without LockTight Access software and a valid User Name and Password. A LockTight CF card will not be recognized by any camera other than the LockTight enabled cameras for which it has been authorized. Seamless camera operation - LockTight CF cards have the full speed and function of regular Lexar professional WA CF cards in an authorized LockTight camera. LockTight cards do NOT require User Name and Password entry on the camera. One screen access to LockTight card - A photographer simply launches the LockTight Access program on his computer, types in his User Name and password in the single-screen interface and the card becomes available to use as any other CF card. Drag and Drop system administration - The entire LockTight system is visible on one administration screen. Users and cameras are assigned card privileges with a simple drag and drop. LockTight cards, Users and Cameras are added to the system with a single entry screen. LockTight is compatible with Windows 2000, XP and Mac True Lexar 80X performance - LockTight CF cards have the same performance as normal Lexar WA 80X CF cards. A photographer does not have to give up performance to gain the added benefit of data security.
