Wente's 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon features lush flavors of cherry and plum, with hints of cedar and violets in the nose. It's a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Merlot. The 2004 Chardonnay from Wente has been created from single lots of grapes carefully tended in the family vineyards to achieve the fullest flavor. Ripe apple and pear flavors mingle on the palate along with tropical pineapple and citrus characters, further enhanced through barrel aging adding more complexity with slight oak and vanilla flavors. Wente Estate Oro Fino Olive Oil is extra virgin and comes from a century-old grove where the olives have been handpicked one branch at a time and cold pressed within 24 hours.
