Brass Baron Belgian Boy Fountain - E899FV
Brass Baron Fountains Belgian Boy was created by the mayor of Old Brussels, Belgium whose son had wandered off into the forest. He was sculpted just as he was found. To this day, he graces the Grand Plaza fountain in Old Brussels. 20" Height; 16 lbs Verdigris (green-grey) patina finish In addition to their beauty, Brass Baron fountains are readily portable and easy to install. Three elements are required for installation: The fountain sculpture... is plumbed with copper tubing with a hose barb welded to the tubing at the bottom of the sculpture. The receptacle to hold water... can be of any non-pours material large enough to receive the water emitting from the fountain sculpture. A submersible, recirculating pump... draws the water from the pump submerged in the receptacle through a plastic hose attached to the hose barb on the fountain sculpture. The water runs through the copper tubing inside the sculpture and flows back into the receptacle, thus providing a continuous flow of recirculating water. The pump's electrical cord is plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet. Receptacle to hold water & Recirculating Pump are not included with the fountain.
