The Royal Professional Automatic Espresso from Saeco is designed for the home, office, small cafe or sandwich shop. Love espresso but have a busy schedule? Hate to clean up? This is your machine. Just press the button and the Royal Professional will automatically grind your coffee beans and dispense freshly brewed, rich and flavorful coffee into your cup. Press the brew button once for a single espresso or coffee. Pushing the brew button twice quickly will put a double shot of espresso or coffee in your cup. Utilize the enormous flexibility of this machine’s programming options by varying the water volume up to 12-ounces and the ability to select up to 9-grams of ground coffee per brewing cycle. The Royal Professional is one of the few coffee and espresso centers that features a built-in automatic milk frothing system for making textbook cappuccinos. The automatic milk frothing system yields perfect foam for cappuccinos. You can also control the consistency of the foam. On-screen functions include a multilingual digital screen. The screen indicates cup size, the temperature of your brew, when to rinse and de-scale and more. Saeco's patented Rapid-Steam system provides consistent steam for repeated drinks. The steam wand accommodates frothing pitchers up to 32-ounces. If you need instant hot water for making tea, hot cocoa, or Americanos, the hot water feature is available at the press of a button. With this machine, you can even make a Cafe Creme, often referred to as a Swiss-brewed coffee. For a Cafe Creme, a courser ground is needed, a simple adjustment on this great machine. This coarser ground allows for more water to pass through faster, resulting in a frothy layer of coffee that floats on the top: the crema. A special pre-ground coffee funnel allows you to pour pre-ground coffee into a funnel that is accessed by lifting a small lid on top of the machine. This feature is perfect when there is someone in the crowd who wants a decaffeinated espresso and there are only caffeine espresso beans in the machine, or if you wish to sample other blends of coffee. After making a cup of coffee with the pre-ground option, the machine automatically resets back to the beans held in the machine. The Royal Professional has a feature that will allow you to adjust the amount of coffee to be ground for each individual cup. The Royal Professional has a built-in, conical type burr grinder, the same type used by the professionals. Conical burr grinders are made up of a cone shaped grinding wheel that turns slow enough not to burn the coffee beans. A built-in 82-oz. water tank can be refilled while still on the machine or by removing it. For perfect coffee extraction, the machine is equipped with a powerful, 15 bar pump.
