Akrapovic mufflers come in two varieties: Carbon wrap and Titanium wrap. The Akrapovic Racing system is ideal for racing machinery. Racing systems can increase horsepower up to 20% as well as reduce the weight of the exhaust system by up to two thirds. dB LevelsNoise measurements are made 50cm from the exhaust outlet at an angle of 45º to the side of the outlet. Typical measured noise levels depend most of all on the engine type and vary from 98dB to no louder than 102dB to meet World Superbike noise requirements.
