DVD: Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle
Use the drop down list to choose between an R-Rated version, and an Unrated "Extreme" Version of Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle. Straitlaced, by-the-book Harold (John Cho) and his roommate, the rebellious Kumar (Kal Penn), have only one thing in common - a serious case of the munchies. As they set out on a quest to satisfy their craving for White Castle hamburgers, their simple road trip turns into a hilarious, all-night epic journey of deep thoughts, deeper inhaling and a wild trip through New Jersey - as "un-PC" as it gets. Along the way, Harold and Kumar meet an array of crazy characters and one screwy obstacle after another (not to mention one rabid raccoon and an escaped cheetah on the run), but with every step of the journey, they somehow manage to keep their eye on the tasty prize, learning more than they bargained for about themselves and each other in the process. Features a wild cast of hilarious supporting players and cameos, including Neil Patrick Harris (TV's Doogie Howser, M.D.), Fred Willard (A Mighty Wind), Eddie Kaye Thomas (American Pie), Ethan Embry (Sweet Home Alabama), Jamie Kennedy (Malibu's Most Wanted), Anthony Anderson (Scary Movie 3), Christopher Meloni (TV's Law & Order S.V.U.) and Ryan Reynolds (National Lampoon's Van Wilder). Special features for R-rated version: Deleted/Alternate scenes, "The Back Seat Interview" with John Cho, Kal Penn and Bobby Lee, "The Art of the Fart" sound documentary, "Cast & Crew: Drive-Thru Bites", "A Trip to the Land of Burgers" featurette, Commentary with director Danny Leiner, John Cho and Kal Penn, Commentary with writers Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg, Theatrical trailer, "Script-to-screen" with storyboards, "Me and Weedy" photo activity, DVD-ROM content, 16 x 9 widescreen (1.85:1) version of the film, 5.1 Surround Sound (English), Stereo Surround Sound (English), Spanish subtitles.
